I’m never one to be a skeptic about games that aren’t even officially out but JP was telling me the game was garbage.

Playing the EVO and Private beta’s of this game seriously makes me wish that this game was a complete rip off of Smash Bros. First off, the camera is SUPER wide, so while you’re fighting there’s just so much other shit going on in the background, and other players doing their own shit, that you can’t even fully focus on yourself. Second the gameplay is just super clunky. 3 attack buttons all with different directional commands and throwing with the right stick? That’s 32 different combinations (for ground and air attacks) that don’t even help you gain meter that fast. That’s the other thing, METER. You can only use meter to kill. So in two minutes, it’s either stock up 3 bars for only 4 kills, or build up as many single bars as you can for a possible multiple kill with 1 super. Which is dumb. They didn’t mention anything about stocks either. And you can’t keep track of your score. So you have to basically be a multitasking math magician to know not only your score, but everyone else’s score. And btw way, the scoring system goes by ratios. So you get 1 point for every kill but lose 2 points for every death. I love the playstation cast but this game is retarded.
