The Box Arena Results 1/17/2012
Tonight’s game for me was AE (even though I practiced UMvC3 more). I still got tied for 13th and staying consistent with my tournament placement but AE was different for me. After I got knocked out by Skoot I was more determined to stay as long as I could for this night.
It was really hard for me to get back on my feet after Combusted mind fucked me with that toward roundhouse. But I crawled back from losers. I had to beat Loky’s Fuerte and almost lost to Jeff’s Deejay. I was also afraid of Maku as well because he has a solid ground game with Makoto and I had to get through all that to get to Top 8. Then I finally lost Tomo (not Ohira) with his Deejay and I lost because I switched when I coulda probably clutched it back in the end with Rufus. But that’s okay, at least in Street Fighter I know I’m thinking better for myself now in this game. There’s just a lot of match ups I need to keep playing in order to get better. But right now I’m only making sure that I lose to people no lower than my level and I’m trying to get on stream as much as I can. That’s how I’m gonna get better from now on.
P.S. I now know what to do against Deejay. Hopefully losing to Tomo twice in tournament won’t hinder me from beating any other Deejays.
